FUFA Sack Uganda Cranes Head Coach Micho

The Federation of Uganda Football Federation (FUFA) has confirmed the departure of head coach Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic.

The confirmation was made public in a statement that stated that the federation reached a mutual agreement with Micho to have his contract terminated. 

"Today, Thursday 14th September 2023, FUFA and Mr. Milutin Sredojevic agreed to mutually end the existing employment contract between the two parties." The statement stated in part.

This however comes after the national football team "Uganda cranes" failed to make it through to the Africa cup of Nations despite their 2:0 winner in their last game away to Niger.

It should be noted that Coach Micho signed a 3-year deal with and it had a year left.

FUFA noted that that appreciate Micho's contribution during his second reign. 

"FUFA appreciates all efforts and commitment by Mr. Milutin during his period as Head coach of Uganda Cranes."

We now await to see who the federation will appoint next as head coach.
