A source at Mulago hospital who preferred anonymity told POATV Uganda that the newly appointed State Minister for Foreign affairs (regional) John Mulimba has been admitted at Mulago hospital Intensive Care Unit for three weeks now, the minister who missed the vetting session and swearing-in ceremony has been on oxygen for 3 weeks now.
The source said he has since been on and off oxygen.
Seventeen ministers missed the swearing-in ceremony at the Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala Kampala for they either tested positive or were a contact of a person who tested positive for Covid-19.
They include former Speaker of Parliament, Ms. Rebecca Kadaga, who later took oath at state house Nakasero, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Affairs, missed without clear explanation.
Kadaga was later sworn in a private ceremony held at state house Nakasero at the statehouse
