The Board of Directors of Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Godfrey Sebaana as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective April 2nd, 2024.
Mr. Sebaana brings to his new role a wealth of experience garnered over more than two decades in the banking industry.
His most recent position, he served as Executive Director and Head of Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Uganda.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Sebaana has demonstrated proficiency across a wide spectrum of banking functions, including mergers, acquisitions, corporate advisory, and financial institutions management.
His diverse portfolio spans global and local corporates, SMEs, and retail segments, positioning him as a dynamic and versatile leader in the financial landscape.
A qualified accountant and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, Mr. Sebaana also holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School.
