In a swift response to a distress incident, Equity Bank's Soroti branch successfully thwarted an attempted robbery earlier today.
Armed assailants sought access to the banking hall, but thanks to vigilant security measures, no property or lives were harmed during the incident.
Security agents, working in conjunction with local authorities, immediately launched an investigation into the attempted robbery.
Despite the disruption caused by the incident, normal banking services have resumed at the Soroti branch.
