Ministers Raphael Magyezi and Hamson Obua Commission Alanyi Gravity Water Flow Scheme
The Minister of Local Government, Raphael Magyezi, and the Government Chief Whip, Denis Hamson Obua, jointly commissioned the Alanyi Gravity Water Flow Scheme in Ajuri County,Alebtong District.
This significant infrastructure project, constructed at a cost of Shs1.2 billion, marks a crucial milestone in the region's efforts to enhance access to clean and reliable water supply.
The Alanyi Gravity Water Flow Scheme is designed to serve major institutions within Alanyi and 17 surrounding villages, addressing the pressing need for safe drinking water in the area.
Accompanied by dignitaries including District Woman MP Dorcus Acen, LCV Chairperson D.K Odongo, and the Chief Administrative Officer of Alebtong, the ministers toured the newly inaugurated facility.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Minister Raphael Magyezi highlighted the importance of the Alanyi Gravity Water Flow Scheme in meeting the water needs of the local population and supporting key institutions in the region.
