Golola Moses to return to the ring with Power Mike Okiror in Cultural Tittle Fight
Motor Mouthed Kickboxing champion Golola Moses will return to the ring as he faces Okiror Dan Mike alias Lion of the East in a cultural tittle fight.
The fight organized by 12 sport round promotions aims to celebrate cultural diversity and foster unity in the different regions of Uganda.
According to Walugembe Latif, General Secretary of the Uganda Kickboxing Federation, the platform will not only uplift talent but also identify new talents from different regions of Uganda, using culture as the backdrop.
The inaugraul edition that will feature Golola Moses and Power Mike who will compete in the cruiserweight category, with the winner being crowned the National Kickboxing Culture Champion.
Representing the Buganda Region is Moses Golola and Power Mike who represents the Teso Region.
Promoters are enthusiastic about the potential of this major fight to serve as a unifying factor for Uganda's various cultural groups.
The CTC Conservation Center's involvement as a premier sponsor aligns perfectly with their mission to unite people from different backgrounds in the effort to conserve Uganda's precious wildlife.
Golola asked the corporate fraternity to emulate CTC Conservation Centre and come to support this initiative aimed at unifying cultures.
Power Mike Okiror, who began his kickboxing career in 2006, boasts an impressive record of 25 professional fights with only four losses.
His accolades include a gold medal from the Asian Martial Arts Games in Kathmandu (2014), an East African title, and an intercontinental title (2016).
Okiror, eager for this fight, remarked;
"Golola should stop his acting and come for the real challenge. I am now matured, seasoned, and skilled."
