She believes in the power of cultural heritage as a pivotal asset in tourism promotion.

"Culture is our identity, and by showcasing our rich traditions through travel writing and cultural tourism, we can attract more visitors to Teso and Uganda as a whole," Brenda passionately expressed.

Beyond cultural preservation, Brenda aims to launch podcasts that engage Teso's elderly population.

“The elderly are the wise men who hold invaluable information that can help promote our cultural heritage,” Brenda explains.

“By involving them, we make them feel important in society because they are a resource for development. They should not be left out."

Through these podcasts, she intends to create a platform where the elderly can share their stories and insights.

Addressing the issue of road safety during tourism peak seasons is another her other priority.

"Accidents are unfortunately common during peak tourist times. By educating our people on road safety measures, we can ensure a safe environment for both visitors and locals," she affirmed.

Brenda plans to collaborate with local authorities and schools to implement road safety campaigns, aiming to reduce accidents and promote responsible travel practices.

She passionately talks about elevating young talents and introducing programs in schools directed towards that.

"Our schools are not just centers of learning but also hubs of creativity. By supporting talent shows, we not only showcase our young generation's skills but also position our schools as vibrant and safe learning environments," She remarked.

She believes that empowering youth through talent development contributes to building a brighter future for Teso.

Inspired by Ugandan-British actress and composer Sheila Atim, Brenda sees the Miss Tourism Teso title as a platform to inspire young girls.

"I want to show young girls in Teso that they can aspire to greatness, celebrate their culture, and contribute to their community and country's growth," She noted.

Her aspiration aligns with this year's theme, "tourism and peace," symbolizing Uganda's commitment to providing a secure environment for tourism to flourish.

The Miss Tourism Teso crowning night is set for 3rd August at Cloud 9 Arena.
