CMI Boss Abel Kandiho sanctioned by US government
Chief of Military Intelligence (CMI) has been sanctioned by US government.
According to a statement by @UPDFspokespersn , Maj Gen. Kandiho has been slapped with financial sanctions .
‘As UPDF,we are disappointed that such a decision could be made by a country we consider friendly’ Byekwaso’s UPDF statement read in part.
UPDF says they will continue to seek clarification from the US government on way forward.
Major General Abel Kandiho, is a Ugandan military officer who serves as the Chief of Military Intelligence in the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF).[1]
They're implemented to control the risks of terrorist financing, whilst also maintaining confidence in the integrity of the UK's financial service sector.
