Former Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda installed as Chancellor for Gulu University

Former Prime Minister of Uganda Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda has today been installed as the 3rd Vice Chancellor of Gulu University replacing Prof. Fredrick Kayanja
This happened during the 18th graduation ceremony of Gulu University held today 24th at the Gulu University playground.
Vice president of Uganda Jesca Alupo officiated over the installing of Rugunda on behalf of HE Yoweri Museveni
“This morning,I represented H.E Museveni to install Gulu University's 3rd Chancellor- former Prime Minister, and truly, a man of honour Ndugu Ruhakana Rugunda, who thereafter, awarded degrees, diplomas and certificates to over 1200 students at the 18th congregation. Congratulations!” Vice President Alupo noted on her twitter handle
Gulu University saw more than 1190 students graduated in different disciplines during this auspicious occasion.
Dr. Rugunda has been serving as the Special Envoy for Special Duties in the Office of the President, he was appointed Prime Minister of Uganda by HE Yoweri Museveni and served from 2014 to 2021.
